Closing of the Bones Ceremony
This ceremony is to honour the immense and profound journey/s you have been on in birthing your child/ren.
It is to welcome in the new version of you and honour who you are today after the monumental shift that occurs in childbirth. It can be performed at any point in your postpartum continuum.
This ceremony usually takes between 2-3 hours to perform. I bring all requirements/tools. We begin with a birth debrief or discussion about anything that's on your heart. I offer a herbal foot soak and massage, then proceed to the ceremony. Once concluded I lovingly prepare you a meal so you are nourished on every level, newly born all over again.
You are welcome to invite people from your birth support team or those close to you to take part in this ceremony or you can choose to experience this solo. Little babes are welcome to join us at any time.

Here is what two of my beautiful clients have to say about their experience:
“Together we created space for reverence and reflection, I shared my birth story and honed in on what I want to embody and release in my life/mothering (which are currently one and the same). I was also given the opportunity to call my full self back into my body, to bring down the parts of me that were still floating in the otherworldly birth dimension and to find a new kind of wholeness, to feel all my past selves folded in to my new, ever-changing Mother self. It was very cosmic. Revelling in ritual and togetherness is so healing. To prioritise these processes and step out of our lives to look around and sit in full acknowledgement of the power and of the mystery of birth, death and rebirth with intention and respect… this is where real magic happens. And by magic I mean LOVE, power and community”

”This ceremony was extremely important for me to do prior to trying to conceive our second child. I still felt energetically open from the birth of Sol and there was still some unprocessed trauma inside of me that needed to be worked through. Charlotte held this space for me to unpack, release and shift this trauma, and bring a new sense of loving, forgiving energy inwards.
Her nurturing, motherly energy was everything I needed, I felt so held and so witnessed. I needed this more than I knew and I'm so grateful to have had this experience with such a caring, loving and beautiful friend. After the ceremony, the moment the eye pillow was removed from my eyes, I felt reborn, I felt new but also wiser and ready to embark on the journey of conceiving, carrying and birthing another child. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Charlotte, this experience was otherworldly and everything to me. This world is very lucky to have you, especially the mummas that get the privilege of working with you at such a pivotal time of their life.”
